About Retire Ready

I'm Rich Dias. I spent thirty years as an engineer, including work in aerospace, and I retired at 55 in 2022. Retire Ready is where I share what I learned building my own retirement, so you can build yours with more confidence and less guessing.

What Retire Ready is about

Most retirement advice assumes you will live off one thing: a pile of savings you draw down until it either lasts or runs out. I think that is fragile. Retire Ready is built on a different idea, that a retirement funded by several income streams is far more stable than one funded by a single account and a hope that the market behaves.

So this is where I write about building those streams: digital income you can start from scratch, alternative investments beyond the usual advice, tax strategy that lets you keep more of what you earn, and the tools, including AI, that finally make all of this practical for regular people instead of only the wealthy.

Who it's for

This is for professionals over 50 who are done trading time for money and want income that lasts as long as they do. You do not need a finance degree. You need a willingness to treat retirement as a system you build and maintain, not a finish line you cross once.
